NorCal Regional Operators Group

The NorCal Regional Operators Group (NROG) exists for one simple reason: to get on the air, get outside, and build real world capability together.

We are a community of active operators dedicated to sharing knowledge, testing gear, and elevating our skills across the board. Whether you are setting up your first station, experimenting with digital modes, or building out off-grid field deployments, NROG is built on peer-to-peer collaboration. We learn from each other’s setups, mentor those stepping up to the mic for the first time, and work toward a common goal: becoming more skilled, better connected, and truly prepared.

Getting involved shouldn’t require jumping through hoops or cutting red tape. If you’re heading out to operate, whether it’s a park activation, a mobile test, or a casual weekend deployment, put it on the calendar and invite the crew.
